What do I need to apply?

To be able to work with Ocala Recruitment, you must have a minimum of 6 months of professional care, and a passion to continually deliver outstanding care.

What are the working hours?

The hours are variable depending on the service's needs. Split into early, late, and night, which usually breaks into 07:00-15:00, 15:00-22:00, and 22:00-07:00.

Is it a zero hour contract

Yes. This means that you are in control of when and where you work, but equally important, when you do not work. 

What is the pay rate?

At Ocala Recruitment, we pay a minimum of £12 per hour and enhancements for nights and weekends. You also accrue holiday and pension pay on top of this wage, making your hourly earnings to at least £13.85 per hour.

Recruitment process

Apply for job

Using a variety of recruitment strategies both organic and paid. We always work to source the top 1% of temporary care staff.

Confirm 6 months experience

Once we have sourced an appropriate applicant, we ask a range of pre-interview questions. If successful, they are booked for interview.

Interview

All interviews are scored on their responses to questions and must obtain our pass mark before being offered a position with Ocala Recruitment.

Collect right to work docs

We collect References, DBS and RTW documents. These are used to confirm the persons eligibility to work in UK and that they are a safe person.

Ocala Recruitment training

Our training utilises both e-learning and face to face practical, as we believe this promotes quality care. Ocala Recruitment's delivers its bespoke training package. Trainees must complete assessments on each subject to advance as component to work.

Ready to work

Once all documents and certificates are complete. You will receive a welcome call from the team and a welcome pack. We will then take your availability and start booking work.
